“In November 2005, our dog, Roxy, was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in the center of her brain. We opted against surgery because of her age, and our other options were slim. My husband and I were desperate, so we prayed. The next day, still not sure how, we found Dr. Anyes Van Volkenburg, who with nutrients, dietary changes has given Roxy back her life - she is doing very well! Michele and I both want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping Jewel let us know her wishes. “She wants to stick around as long as she can feel better and if she can’t then she doesn’t want to be here.” That is what gave us the strength to let her go. We took Jewel to the vet today. We agreed that they needed to run blood work for the Kidney values and I asked them to admit her to give her IV fluids for the day… I told them I would wait for the blood test results. After an hour Dr. Shandro came out sat next to me and said…..
